Infinix Zero Flip Debuts with Dimensity 8020, 70W Charging & More; Marks the Brand’s 1st Foldable

This brand has never had a folding phone before, the Infinix Zero Flip device is their first ever go at it. But even for a newcomer in this clamshell phone segment, Zero Flip gets most of the things right and we especially like the zero-gap hinge that lets you fold it completely flat.

Zero Flip has hit the shelves in one of the African markets, but without a doubt, it will scale up and soon head to some other regions. We learn from their official listing that this is a 6.9” 120Hz LTPO AMOLED clamshell that cranks about 1400nits peak brightness and 1080p visuals from that inner screen.

Of course, Zero Flip also has a cover screen like any other respectable clamshell in the market, but they still deserve credit for making it a full-view 3.64” outer panel at this price. They went all in to give it the beefiest cover panel doing an FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate and even a Gorilla Glass 2.

Those cameras sticking out of the cover panel are dual 50 MP lenses: one is for the main OIS lens, and the other is Ultrawide. Even the selfie shooter here has a 50 MP sensor, and all these cameras can do 4k videos, plus you can even use the Infinix latest folding phone as a viewfinder for your GoPros.

Dimensity 8020 chip within it puts the Zero Flip in the upper-mid category, not the flagship, but it should handle everything fine. There’s 8 GB RAM and its solo 512 gigs of storage has an Android 14 XOS 14.5 built into it. This one came a little too early for Android 15 but at least, they’ve committed to 2-year OS and 3-year security support.

Because Zero Flip scored a 4720mAh cell, it can last just as long as your standard non-fold handset, and this one even gives you 70W fast charging. Zero Flip price in Nigeria is set at about $645 and in PKR it converts to around Rs 179,000, a little cheaper than Tecno’s Phantom V Flip 2 that’s up for grabs in our market at Rs 199,999.
