That oddly named itel device has finally gone official. In the history of novelty smartphone designs, this one takes the cake. It has a color-changing backplate, 5G connectivity, and, more importantly, there’s a high-grade Dimensity chipset here. Itel Color Pro 5G may even be the only 5G phone at its price.

Color Pro 5G has debuted in India first. There’s no confirmation yet, but they will probably launch this phone in other markets shortly. Their focus for this device is a proprietary new IVCO (itel Vivid Color) tech. It lets the phone change colors when the sunlight hits it. That rear camera is home to a 50 MP unit. Plus, there’s an 8 MP sensor up front for selfies.

There’s a high 90Hz refresh rate available with its 6.6” IPS display. HD+ resolution at 720p is nothing to complain about at its price. And, as we mentioned before, there’s a Dimensity 6080 SoC here. So it will do 5G, and you get an extremely responsive UI as a bonus.

Also, this chip has NRCA bands. That means enhanced 5G connections (5G++). The browsing speeds with iTel budget new 5G mobile could be faster than your average 5G device. You even get a side fingerprint reader, face unlock, and FM Radio. The only downside to this phone is the year-old Android 13 and no commitment to OS updates.

They paired this Dimensity 6080 engine with 6 GB RAM. It may hold you back on intensive multitasks. But, there is an option to add 6 GB virtual RAM. It does up to 128 GB ROM to store apps and media. Itel Color Pro 5G’s official cost is roughly 120 USD (~PKR 33,000).
