The Transsion manufacturer has officially launched the itel P55 Plus in Africa. Following a short stop at Google Play Console's database, the newcomer has debuted with a 90Hz display, a Unisoc processor, generous internal storage options, and a swift 45W fast charging kit. Here’s an in-depth look at its specs and pricing.

The itel P55 Plus is a 4G-ready phone powered by Unisoc T606 chipset. Accompanying it are 4GB/8GB of RAM, up to 8GB of virtual RAM, and internal storage variants of 128GB/256GB. A standard 5,000mAh battery fuels the device, supporting 45W fast charging.

iTel claims high charging speeds, with the phone reaching up to 65 percent battery in approximately 30 minutes and achieving a full charge in just 75 minutes. With ultra-flat edges and a sleek profile, the device brings a USB C port, a 3.5mm Audio jack, and a minimalistic bottom-firing speaker.

For Visuals, the itel P55+ sports a 6.6-inch IPS display with a punch-hole, delivering an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Operating on custom Android 13 UI, the itel budget new model introduces the Dynamic bar feature, reminiscent of Apple's Dynamic Island.

For Photography lovers, the P55+ packs high value with an 8MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary camera, an AI lens, and an LED flash. The device brings multiple essential features, including dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a microSD card slot, and facial recognition for added security.

The itel P55+ will likely retail in the African market with a price tag of $140 (~PKR 39,000). With chock-full of premium specs and Galaxy Blue, Royal Green, and Meteor Purple finishes, the itel P55 Plus aims to set the market ablaze.
