Itel S25 & S25 Ultra Arrive with Familiar Designs, 120Hz AMOLED, and Extreme Durability

Itel’s openly knocking off the future Galaxy S25 series, something we’ve seen them do plenty of times before. They have just made itel S25 and S25 Ultra official with camera bumps very familiar to the originals, and both are made by itel, so come at very affordable prices.

Itel S25 Ultra

Itel S25 Ultra is a curved AMOLED model built around a 6.78” 1400nit panel, FHD+ or 1080p resolution, and we also see a 120Hz refresh rate on this screen. It’s slanted on the sides ever so little from the front and the back, but the design is quite rich for an affordable phone.

The chipset choice could’ve been better for this phone, but the S25 Ultra still has a Unisoc T620 engine — a reliable one for most daily user activities. They’ve advertised the S25 Ultra as a 6.9mm thin 163g phone with an IP64 rating, Gorilla Glass 7i, and even built-in wet touch support.

There’s a 50 MP camera on the back, a 32MP selfie on the front, and yes, there are some more lenses on the rear side but they are auxiliary for the most part. They also gave this phone a fingerprint reader on the screen and a 5000mAh battery. Itel S25 Ultra has a starter price of ~$210 (~PKR 58,000).

Itel S25

There’s an IP54 rating on itel S25; lower than the other sibling, but the screen size and refresh rates haven’t changed. It’s still AMOLED at 6.78” but rather than being curved, S25 is flat. 120Hz refresh rate 1080p resolution 1400nits brightness seem to be things S25 and S25 Ultra share.

They didn’t mention it anywhere, but from what it seems, this is surely a Unisoc T612 engine at its helm. We may have Android 14 systems in these handsets by default but they promise an upgrade to Android 15. And the JBL-tuned speakers are pretty decent as well.

There’s a 5000mAh cell built-in with this phone and half the base storage of the upper variant at 128GB, though the RAM size is pretty much the same at 8 GB. A 32 MP selfie unit exists on this phone and there’s a 50 MP rear camera among the lenses, all priced at ~$110 (~PKR 28,000).
