We heard the good news last week when the S25 Ultra opened up pre-orders on the itel’s webpage with the shipment promised for mid-December. Finally, the wait is over, and from today onward, both Itel S25 and S25 Ultra are officially available in Pakistan for retail. This is a brief overview of their specs.
Itel S25 Ultra
It’s a curved phone with a 6.78” 1400nit AMOLED panel, FHD+ 1080p resolution, and a solid refresh rate at 120Hz for smooth animations. S25 Ultra’s design is quite rich for an entry-level segment, especially the display, which you won’t be able to find at this price anywhere else.
Itel’s S25 Ultra has a Unisoc T620 engine that runs the system at a 2.2GHz clock speed. An 8GB + 256GB is the only RAM and storage option available for this device but it’s plenty for most users and decent enough for the price range.
This phone is advertised as a 6.9mm thin, 163g device with an IP64 rating, Gorilla Glass 7i, and even built-in wet touch support, so it should be reliable and comfy to hold. It’s using Android 14 by default, but they promised a major update after the release, so it should jump to Android 15 at least.
Its selfie is 32 MP and the rear lens uses a 50 MP main super HDR sensor with two decorative lenses. 5000mAh battery keeps the system running and the backup is a fast 18W charging support. This phone also has a screen-mounted fingerprint reader among other specs. Itel S25 Ultra (8/256GB) in Pakistan only costs Rs 44,999.
Itel S25
An IP54 rating on itel S25 makes the phone dust and splashproof. It doesn’t look as premium, though it still brings amazing value for the price. It’s also an AMOLED 6.78” phone but rather than being curved, S25 is flat. 120Hz refresh rate 1080p resolution 1400nits brightness seem to be things S25 and S25 Ultra share.
Same as Ultra, itel S25 only comes with Android 14 and one major OS update for the future. 6/128GB memory assortment might bottleneck some of your activities but this phone can virtually expand the memory by 6GB to offload the background tasks for better performance.
JBL-tuned speakers are decent and loud, the 5000mAh battery lasts a full day, and itel S25 uses the same 32 MP camera in the front and 50 MP main camera in the back. 18W charging support and under-screen fingerprint are also identical on both these handsets. Itel S25 (6/128GB) has a far cheaper cost at only Rs 29,999.
