Galaxy S25 Ultra Rumors, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Hints & Much More; Here’s What’s Next in 2024

There wasn’t much official activity last week. Still, the rumor mill was churning out all kinds of leaks — very insightful for what’s to come next this year. The Galaxy S25 Ultra won’t look the same. Info about its Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. iPhone 16 Pro colors, and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 release. This is what we gathered in the past week.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has more rounded corners, it seems – a more tranquil look than the angled and sharp S24 Ultra. As leaks would have you, there’s a bigger screen headed your way at 6.86”. And the S25 Ultra has even slimmer bezels of 2.3mm. That’s almost 1.05mm less than the S24 Ultra’s.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 showed up in leaks again. But we find the deets more on point this time. No luck on the clock frequencies though. This find was very helpful still. It ratted out a 3nm fabrication and 8-core Oryon CPU architecture. Also, an Adreno 8 series GPU and a new NPU with a low-power AI subsystem should debut with SD 8 Gen 4.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 officially arrived last week. And everyone was starstruck with the upgrades it brought. If we compare it to SD 7s Gen 2, this chip slayed the old one at every turn: 20% better CPU, a 40% Faster GPU, plus it added 30% AI performance. All that, and it still handles power 12% more efficiently.

iPhone 16 Pro colors were outed by multiple tipsters. And a photo of dummy units also went viral. So you can be sure Titanium White, Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Gold colors are due. But pay no attention to last week’s launch date reveal because it was a hoax.

Then we saw the Redmi Note 14 Pro pass certification with 90W fast charging. And it was around the same time Galaxy A16 5G got its ticket from 3C with a 5000mAh battery. Tecnos Spark Go 1 came out after that and took us by surprise. It’s an IPS 120Hz with an Android 14 GO system.
