The Circular camera design seems to be the next 'in' thing. first, we saw the Huawei Mate 30 pro renders with a round camera module and now this.  Apparently, Nokia is all set to launch a new smartphone that comes with three rear cameras in a circular housing and a notch on the front.

The leak emerged on China's social media Baidu which contain some photos without highlighting much detail. Even the device's official name is still a mystery, however, The meta info from the images revealed its codename to be Nokia Daredevil. And upon detailed inspection, some key specs also got revealed.

The photos show a smartphone with three cameras on the back. Based on the information revealed through the images, The camera setup is comprised of a 48MP main sensor, a 0.6x ultra-wide-angle lens and a 3D ToF depth sensor. The rear cameras are aligned in a circular area that resembles the Nokia Lumia 1020 and Lumia 830 from the back days.

In addition to the cameras, there is also a fingerprint reader on the back. The bottom shows a USB-C interface while the power button and a volume rockers are provided on the right side.

The front of the phone has a large screen with a waterdrop notch at the top while the bottom has the Nokia logo, as usual. The display is said to supports a screen resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. Other specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor under the hood and a 3,500mAh battery.

Judging from the leaked images, The build quality seems quite similar to the Nokia 4.2. The phone does appear to have a glass back panel but the sides are possibly plastic instead of a metal frame. The launch date might be pretty close but at the moment we don't have an exact date.
