Oppo is churning out a new entry-level phone soon. The "S" variant of Oppo A54 has not been announced yet, but unofficial sources leaked everything there is to learn about the phone — its pricing, images, and the entire specification sheet.
The phone maker recycles the body of the still-recent Oppo A16. Think of the Oppo A54s as a mild refresh. We’re looking at the same 6.52” IPS LCD that delivers a 720P resolution, a fat chin, and a drop notch. The front camera housed in this notch is 8MP.
Flip the Oppo A54s over to find a reflective camera island and three lenses inside. It’s a cluster of 50MP wide and two low-res cameras. The shell has a sunburst finish, painted in the Crystal Black and Pearl Blue shades of the A16. Oppo has merged the fingerprint scanner with the power button.
Inside the Oppo A54s, the MediaTek Helio G35 does all the processing. You get 4GB of memory and 128GB of expandable internal storage. ColorOS 11 powers the phone. The battery capacity isn’t specified, but we expect a 5000 mAh cell running on the hardware.
Oppo A54s will first drop in Europe, starting at €219 (~ Rs. 43,000.) Oppo mobile price tag in the European market is always on the higher side. We expect a quiet, unceremonious debut not marked by an event. This release date, however, is still up in the air.
