As the March launch for the upcoming Oppo Find X3 series nears, the leaks surrounding the new Oppo flagship are picking up pace. The trusted industry leaker, Evan Blass, just shared hands-on photos of the Find X3 Pro. The same phone was also benchmarked, revealing its details specification sheet in the process.
This new set of photos follows the Oppo Find X3 Pro renders that Mr. Blass published last month. Seen here in white and black colors, the Find X3 Pro adopts a new design language from Oppo. It’ll also be available in blue and orange editions.
The camera “crater,” as the phone leaker refers to it, looks sculpted from the shell. Four cameras are asymmetrically arranged in this housing.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro leak covers their specifics too. We’re looking at two 50MP Sony IMX766 sensors, one features a standard wide lens and the other an ultra-wide one.
However, Oppo seems to have ditched the periscope-telephoto camera from last year’s Find X2 Pro. A plain 13MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zooming takes its place. The additional fourth camera is a 3MP macro unit that affords the Find X3 Pro its 25x magnification — think of it as a tiny microscope in your phone. The new flagship would undoubtedly be a nice addition to the Oppo price list.
The aforementioned system information comes from the popular Android platform, AnTuTu. Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 is at the heart of Find X3 Pro. It works with 12GB of memory, 256GB, and the latest ColorOS 11, based on Android11. A 4500 mAh battery, which fast charges over 65W wired and 30W wirelessly, powers these internals.
The screen, once again, is going to be a highlight of this upcoming Find series flagship. We’re looking at a 10-bit 6.7” OLED panel that delivers a QHD+ resolution at an adaptive 120Hz. Aside from the standard Find X3 and the “Pro” variant, the lineup will also feature a Find X3 Lite and Find X3 Neo.
