New Samsung Galaxy A52 4G Leak Reveals Detailed Specifications, Pricing, and Availability

The Korean's upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 4G has been in the headlines for the past few months. The leaks uncovered by the rumor mill leave little to the imagination about the phone itself. But its pricing and availability details were anyone’s guess until now. A Vietnamese phone leaker recently published these details.

The leak comes from The Pixel, a Vietnamese YouTube channel with a credible track record. According to the source, the Successor of the Samsung Galaxy A51 is launching in Vietnam in late March. Whether it’ll be the global debut of the device is unclear right now, but note that it’ll be the same LTE variant that’s slated for the Pakistani market.

The upgrades from last year’s Galaxy A51 are minimal. Samsung has swapped out the Exynos chip with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G — which puts the A52 4G squarely in the league of Reno5 4G. Evidently, the Samsung phone isn’t as competitive in value or specs as Oppo’s model.

Before we get into the details, the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G was rumored to feature an IPS LCD screen. But this latest report (not to mention the leaks preceding it) dismiss the speculation.

Coming back to The Pixel report, we’re looking at a 6.5” SuperAMOLED panel that still operates at 60Hz. Contrast it against the smooth 90Hz screen of the Reno5 4G that also delivers a full HD resolution.

Similarly, the camera array of the new addition to the Samsung price list remains more or less unchanged. The primary sensor is now 64MP, but it’s joined by the same 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 5MP depth cameras.

The new 4500 mAh battery is 500 mAh bigger. It fast charges over 25W, up from 15W (much like Samsung’s flagships). On the other hand, the more Reno5 4G offers blazing-fast 50W support.

The latest Android11, 128GB of storage, and 8GB of memory round off the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G spec sheet. Lastly, the Galaxy A52 4G comes in white, black, blue, and lavender color options. Considering the heavily taxed price tag of 9.5 million VND in Vietnam, the handset can cost anywhere from Rs. 59,999 to 64,999 PKR in Pakistan.
