Samsung is still secretive regarding the launch of its next foldable smartphone, however; we have got exclusive information on almost everything regarding the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 launch. According to the sources, the expected launch will be more of a minor improvement of Galaxy Z Fold 3 rather than a full-fledged upgrade.
Heading towards the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage. The specifications are no surprise owing to the leaked news regarding a minor improvement of the smartphone’s preceding version.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 is said to have the same battery as Galaxy Z Fold 3, as it will sport a 4,400mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. However, we are hopeful regarding the improved battery endurance because of the presence of this year’s most powerful Qualcomm chipset.
Furthermore, Galaxy Z Fold 4 is said to have a 7.6-inch AMOLED screen with a QXGA+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. We can expect an under-display selfie camera that's not easily visible.
According to a well-known leakster Ice universe, the front shooter placed under the Z fold 3's display had just 173 PPi while the upcoming Galaxy Z fold4 will have a pixel density of 400 Pixels per inch. This should make the camera blend better with the screen. The external screen is expected to be a 6.2-inch HD+ AMOLED display capable of handling a 120Hz refresh rate.
The new 5G Samsung mobile will house a tripe-camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 10MP telephoto camera. This is slightly contradictory to the previous rumor that suggested the Z Fold to have a 12MP telephoto lens with a 3x zoom capability. The inner camera will feature a 4MP sensor and the outer camera to have a 10Mp lens.
