Various reports earlier have already reported Xiaomi's upcoming 12 Ultra not having a secondary rear display. But rather a massive circular camera island, featuring multiple lenses and sensors. Now new renders new have emerged, confirming these previous leaks.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra renders were published by @OnLeaks — a phone leaker with a reputable track record —  in partnership with Zoutonus. The images offer us an early design preview. Note that these images represent early concepts and not the finalized design, which could be tweaked to a certain degree.

Based on leaked images, the 12 Ultra is getting a Quad-Camera setup on the back regardless of having eight holes. The renders match the previous leaks except for having the fourth lens which could be a secondary telephoto sensor. Earlier reports purposed a Triple-camera setup as found on the Mi 11 Ultra.

According to Zoutonus, the main camera of the new Xiaomi Ultra mobile will be equipped with a 50MP sensor, while the ultra-wide and periscope cameras will use 48MP lenses along with a fourth unknown sensor. The device's front-facing camera, on the other hand, resides in a punch-hole featuring a 20MP shooter.

Expected to arrive with a snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the screen of the 12 Ultra is rumored to be a 6.8” AMOLED Panel that produces a 1440P resolution at a responsive 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also said to have an HDR 10+ support along with a set of stereo speakers.

To turn the lights on, Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery that is going to support a 120W quick charge along with wireless charging. The device is suggested to arrive in glass/ceramic or leather builds. No word from the manufacturer yet on the launch timeline, we'll keep you posted as the story develops.
