Nokia 3.4 was launched in Pakistan yesterday. This entry-level Nokia features a pure stock Android One, a gorgeous design, and the latest budget chip from Qualcomm. We’re gonna take quick a look at it.
Let’s talk about the design first. Nokia 3.4’s aesthetic is Nordic-inspired, reflecting Nokia’s Finnish roots. The back is plastic and the frame is metal. A donut-shaped camera rests in the center, right above the rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Plus, there’s a dedicated button for bringing up the Google Assistant.
The finish comes in Fjord, Dusk, and Charcoal editions. On the front, you’re looking at a hole-punch in the corner, and Nokia’s branding stamped on the chin. The 6.39” display is surrounded by slim bezels and produces a standard 720P resolution.
For photography, the Nokia 3.4 has a 13MP main camera, a 5MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera. The image-processing onboard allows for dedicated portrait and night modes. Overall a nice addition to the Nokia price list.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 powers the Nokia 3.4, combined with 3/4GB of memory and 32GB/64GB of storage. A 4000 mAh battery, without any fast charging tech, runs this hardware. Augmented with the Adaptive Battery feature, the phone offers two-day battery life (or at least is advertised to). The software is clean Android10 that supports up to 2 years of promised OS upgrades.
Nokia 3.4 starts from Rs. 24,750. It’s not the most value-packing phone this season. You can find a fast charging 5000 mAh battery and better storage in this price range. But if you want the fastest Qualcomm chip and stock Android experience on a budget, the Nokia 3.4 should be on your radar.
