In a few months, HMD Global launched four new handsets to serve all significant price segments; Nokia X30 5G, G60 5G, G21, and C31. Nokia C31, a sub-mid-range cell that went official in October 2022, is now getting prepped for release in Pakistan.
Though the launch date is yet to be confirmed, we are optimistic about Nokia C31's official retail in the country within a few weeks. If you are looking for a supreme daily driver at an affordable price, wait for this phone to hit Pakistani shores. In Global rates, the phone starts at a justifiable cost, 111$ (~25,150 PKR). Here's a list of its specs.
With a U-shaped notch and a 6.74-inch screen, C31's front stands out in many. Under the visor is a standard panel. Inside an IPS 1600 x 720 display, the phone limits its refresh rate to 60Hz, which is typical at this price. Symmetrical thick bars wrap the screen with ~83.4% screen-to-body ratio.
The design of the new Nokia C mobile is probably the main highlight. C31 holds a circular cutout on the back for a mounted fingerprint reader. Three cameras lie inside a slightly raised platform, enveloping a 13MP primary, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro unit. The setup lives in the upper left corner of the back, and the chassis employs a 3D water ripple design to minimize finger smudges.
Providing a passable user experience, Nokia C31 features a UNISOC SC9863A1 processor, PowerVR GE8322 GPU, and up to 512GB of storage. It ships in two in-built memory combos; 4+64GB and 4+128GB. The phone boots up to Android 12 Stock OS.
Although the phone lacks Fast charging, with its 5050mAh cell and its intelligence power-saving features, you won't have to worry about having to plug it in constantly. One charge will easily last you a full day. Coated in the soft shades of Gray, Nordic Blue, and Mint Green, it provides an IP52 rating as well. The C21, its sibling, was the final C-Series phone to hit local store shelves. Nokia C21's official price in Pakistan is Rs. 19,900.
