Nokia X20 and Nokia X10 Launched in Pakistan - Speedy 5G and Three Years of Software Updates

HMD Global recently partnered with Advance Telecom to bring the Nokia G-series to Pakistan. But the Finnish phone maker saved the best for last. The all-new Nokia X-series, featuring Nokia X20 and Nokia X10, just launched in Pakistan. The duo comes with the promise of three years of software upgrades and blazing fast 5G, all for a mid-range price.

Nokia X10

HMD didn’t switch up the design they have stuck to for a while now, despite the new naming scheme. Save for the centered hole punch, Nokia 10 features a standard Nokia build — donut-style camera housing and thick bezel with Nokia’s branding stamped on it.

We’re looking at a 6.67” IPS LCD with a full HD resolution. No additional bells and whistles, like a high touch sampling refresh rate, to be found here. But the X10 is toughened with Gorilla Glass 3. The on-screen camera is 8MP.

The frame is plastic and contains a side-facing thumbprint reader, a dedicated button for the Google Assistant, and a 3.5mm audio jack. You can pick from Forest and Snow colors. Flip the Nokia X10 over to find a quad-camera co-engineered with ZEISS — a 48MP wide lens, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and two 2MP depth and macro sensors.

As for the internals, the Nokia X10 has the 8nm Snapdragon 480 at its heart. It’s combined with 128GB/64GB of storage, 6/4GB of memory, and powered by pure Android11.

A 4470 mAh battery, capable of fast charging at 18W, backs up this hardware. Nokia X10 offers two days between charges. Although it has been announced, the X10 won’t be available in stores for weeks. Speculation puts its price at Rs. 49,999.

Nokia X20

Nokia X20 has the same body, chip, battery, and display as the X10, except it's available in Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue colors. Its screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 5, but it shares the dimensions and specifications of the X10.

The operating system on the Nokia new 2021 model, dedicated Google button, and side-facing fingerprint sensor get the same treatment. Nokia X20’s camera is of higher resolution.

Instead of the 48MP camera, the wide lens here has a 64MP sensor behind it. The 5MP ultrawide camera and the 2MP macro and portrait duo are brought over from X10. The selfie camera is 32MP.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 and the 18W 4470 mAh battery are also carried over wholesale. However, Nokia X20 pairs them with 128GB of storage and 6GB/8GB of memory. It’s priced at Rs. 54,999 and is currently available.
