OnePlus 10 Pro belongs to the latest upcoming line of flagship phones from OnePlus. OnePlus has yet to kick off the pre-launch campaign, but the official teaser for the OnePlus 10 Pro was leaked on Twitter. It was also benchmarked on Geekbench.
Courtesy of the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, we get our first official preview of the OnePlus 10 Pro. The short trailer clip features the exact launch timeline for the OnePlus 10 series. We’ll take a quick look at the OnePlus 10 Pro.
Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known as @OnLeaks, published product mockups that line up perfectly with the OnePlus 10 Pro seen in this teaser leak. We’re looking at a display that curves along the edges, flanked by minimal bezels. Also, the OnePlus has punched a hole through the corner to make space for the front camera.
We know from previous leaks that it’s a 6.7” LTPO AMOLED, featuring a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and a 32MP selfie camera. Turn the phone over to find a big camera island on the back. The handset is expected to join the OnePlus price catalog soon.
The camera plate takes cues from this year’s Galaxy S21 Ultra since it’s blended right into the phone’s frame. It stretches over halfway across the width of the OnePlus 10 Pro. The matte-style finish on the OnePlus 10 Pro comes in mint and graphite colors.
OnePlus is partnering up with the optics company Hasselblad to engineer these cameras. The housing embeds one wide-angle 48MP lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 3.3x 8MP telephoto camera.
The OnePlus 10 Pro was also benchmarked on Geekbench. The phone has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 12GB of memory, and 256GB of onboard storage inside. Everything runs on a 5000 mAh battery and ultra-fast 125W charging. Based on the leaked promo, the series is debuting on January 11.
