The OnePlus 10 Pro made its global debut on schedule this week. It’s being rolled out in Europe, North America, and India right now. And more countries should be getting it soon too. We have the pricing and specs to report.
OnePlus has designed the OnePlus 10 Pro after the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra's wrap-around metal camera plate. It contains a matrix of three lenses — 48MP OIS wide, 50MP 150° ultra-wide, and 8MP 3.3x OIS telephoto cameras.
The phone maker has partnered with Hasselblad to co-engineer the photography experience. Although the Hasselblad logo is stamped on the camera housing, the optics firm’s contribution is limited to software features like natural color optimization, XPan Mode, and 12-bit RAW imaging.
The screen curves and melts into the edges. It’s a 6.7” LTPO 2.0 AMOLED that can dynamically step the refresh rate all the way down to 1Hz. This advanced panel makes the OnePlus 10 Pro more efficient and helps run the power-hungry 1300 nits of brightness and QHD+ resolution better. Like the newer Samsung phones, It’s toughened with Gorilla Glass Victus, houses an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and produces an ultra-sharp contrast ratio.
Everything runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, fast UFS storage, and next-gen LPDDR5 RAM. ColorOS x Android 12 powers the hardware. And a 5000 mAh battery backs it up. OnePlus 10 Pro offers two different wired charging options — 65W in North America and 80W in Europe.
Other features that you always expect a flagship to include are onboard: 50W wireless charging, dual stereo speakers, and a fine-tuned vibration motor. The OnePlus 10 Pro comes in Volcanic Black and Emerald Green colors. And you can pick from 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB storage variants. It’s currently available for pre-orders in markets previously mentioned, starting from $899 (~ Rs. 165,000.)
