Two weeks ago, OnePlus introduced the Core Edition of the Nord. The OnePlus Nord CE sports high-end storage, smooth, crisp display, and Qualcomm silicon. And it’s now headed to Pakistan. We have the launch timeline and pricing to report.
Sources tell WhatMobile that the Nord CE is coming to Pakistan in the first week of July. Both variants, the OnePlus Nord CE 12GB + 256GB and 8GB + 128GB editions, will be made available. Let’s review what this Core Edition has to offer.
At 170g and 7.9mm, the Nord CE has the most lightweight footprint of any current phone in the OnePlus catalog. The 3.5mm audio jack has also been brought back, but the signature alert slider button is gone. Save for fewer cameras, the Nord CE has the same design as the original Nord. It comes in Blue Void, Charcoal Ink, and Silver Ray (but only the two former editions are being released in Pakistan.)
The screen is a 6.43” AMOLED panel with a hole punch, a fluid 90Hz refresh rate, and a clear 1080P resolution. A hidden fingerprint scanner is embedded in the Nord CE. Plus, the cutout contains a 16MP selfie lens at a top-end Oneplus mobile price.
On the back, there’s a triple-camera featuring a 64MP wide lens, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP mono sensor. OnePlus Nord CE can shoot in nightscape, Ultrashort HDR, AI Scene Recognition, and Pro modes.
Next, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G mobile platform is at the heart of the Nord CE. It’s powered by 5G and OxygenOS based on Android 11. A 4500 mAh battery and Warp Charge 30T Plus run the Nord CE. OnePlus promises a 70% top-up in just 30 minutes. The base edition could start anywhere around Rs. 63,000 to 65,000 PKR while the top-end variant would be priced between Rs. 76,000 and Rs. 79,000.
