There is no fingerprint sensor on the back of A1k though the screen size is good for an entry-level with an overall screen to body ratio of 87.47%, all thanks to the water-drop notch at the top.
You’re looking at a textured plastic back with a glossy highlight snaking across its length. In the middle, we find a standard rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Off-center, a compact capsule-style camera bump houses the phone’s dual camera. We anticipate further cuts to the Oppo price list as more sequels to the existing models are expected to be arriving soon.
The display stretches 6.22” across, delivering an HD+ resolution and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. Oppo has carved a notch in the display — home to the front camera — and layered it in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Plus, it filters out blue light to reduce eye strain. Around the back, the dual-camera uses a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens for depth-mapping. The front camera is a mediocre 5MP but it’s powered by Oppo’s ‘AI Beautification’.
Expect entry-level performance out of its last-gen MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage — expandable with a microSD card. These internals are powered by a 4,230 mAh battery that promises up to 8 hours of gaming and 17 hours of video streaming. The playback is supported by Dirac which optimizes your listening experience with smart audio modes.
