Oppo A2 is a mysterious new device that has just received the nod of approval from China's TENAA authority. It bears the model number PJG110 set to carry forward the legacy of its predecessor, the Oppo A1 while introducing several exciting new features and improvements.

According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo A2, codenamed "Givenchy," is expected to boast a striking 6.7-inch curved-edge OLED display. The screen will showcase a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and an impressive 2160 Hz PWM dimming, promising to relieve users of eye fatigue.

The Oppo A2 will likely retain an under-display fingerprint sensor, further streamlining the device's sleek and modern appearance. The TENAA images also reveal a distinctive round camera module, adding to the phone's appeal.

One of the most anticipated upgrades is the new primary camera setup. Although details are scarce, Oppo has always been at the forefront of photography innovation, and the Oppo A2 is likely to follow suit. Combined with a large battery, users can expect an enhanced photography and video recording experience from the OPPO new A model.

Since the newcomer’s specifications remain undisclosed, the Oppo A1 can provide some hints. The phone secures a Snapdragon 695 chipset with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. An impressive 5,000mAh battery, supported by 67W fast charging, ensures long-lasting usage with minimal downtime.

While the Oppo A1 boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, it will be intriguing to see if the Oppo A2 will maintain or exceed this feature to elevate the overall user experience. As the Oppo A2 gears up for an official launch in August, consumers and tech enthusiasts eagerly await more detailed specifications in the days to follow.
