Oppo A2m; New 5G entry-level Smartphone on the Horizon with Dimensity 700 SoC

In the wake of the recent Oppo A2x launch, its close sibling, the Oppo A2m, is now in the pipeline. While these two devices share a striking resemblance and nearly identical specifications, a fresh listing has unveiled a distinctive chipset choice for the A2m.


According to the latest disclosure, the Oppo A2m has finally appeared on the China Telecom website, revealing its use of the MediaTek MT6833V/ZA platform, notably identified as the Dimensity 700.

The Oppo A2m abounds with a 6.56-inch LCD, offering HD+ resolution, coupled with a discrete waterdrop notch housing a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On its rear, there will be a solo 13-megapixel sensor. Additionally, the device will run on Android 13, likely layered with ColorOS. 


It should also include a 3.5mm audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Anticipated to be available in three memory configurations, the Oppo new A model will boast 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM with 256GB storage, and a top-tier option featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Potential buyers can expect color choices in Black and Purple.
