Oppo A3 Goes Official with Snapdragon 695 at the Hull, 120Hz OLED, and 45W Charging

They made it official yesterday, the Oppo A3. We know there’s already one in China parading around with the title A3 Pro. But this one is different, dare we say, a class below. They had to make it cheaper somehow, so they cut some corners. But oh my, the vanilla A3 is still looking spectacular.

The looks are fly, of course. Everything fits so well to make this one a minimal build. And what can be better than an OLED 6.7” visor that lies atop? Those colors will pop, and animations will float. After all, you have a 1080p 10-bit panel here that does a 120Hz refresh rate. That 1200 nits brightness will make life so much easier.

Snapdragon 695, albeit old, may be enough to ride through your daily workloads. We can’t say there’s no room for improvement, though. But that’s your classic Oppo, toiling away with designs and never giving the phones enough juice to keep up in the big leagues.

But it will suffice in the RAM/ROM section. From what we know, there’s plenty to go around with 8/12 GB RAM sizes and 256/512 GB ROMs. 50 MP is the first camera that groups with a decorative one and a 2 MP depth mapper. Great stuff on the back of the latest budget Oppo mobile, but not so much on the front.

It’s only using an 8 MP cam for selfies. Then, there’s your usual 5000 mAh power source. And it does fast top-ups with a 45W superVOOC charger and all. There is WiFi 5/Bluetooth (aptX HD). And yes, a reader under the screen for fingerprint ID. It is doing pre-orders for the time, but the intended starter price for Oppo A3 is CNY 1,600 (~PKR 61,000).
