Oppo A3 Listed on TENAA with Official Renders; Here's What the Device Looks Like

Oppo is soon coming out with a new edition of the A-series, the Oppo A3. The Chinese TENNA certification authority just cleared the phone and their listing gives us insight into Oppo A3’s design and features. The A2’s successor is coming right on the heels of the Oppo A3 Pro, rocking a 5G MediaTek chip.

You’ll find the Oppo A3 on the TENNA catalog under the model number ‘PJT110.’ From the system information included in the document, we learn that the A3 will be one of the Android phones to feature a 2.2GHz CPU. It’s a performance 5G chipset with an octa-core build but remains unnamed.

The specs shared between the Oppo A2 and Oppo A3 Pro go beyond the chipset and into the build. The vanilla A3 also has a lightweight footprint, weighing in at 191g. We’re looking at a 6.67” AMOLED screen that delivers a 1080P resolution and houses a convenient optical fingerprint scanner.

You can also make out a hole-punch cutout at the center in the product images attached with the TENNA certificate. There’s the typical Oppo branding stamped across the back, under Oppo latest budget model’s triple-camera adding to its build. It features a 50MP main lens, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 2MP depth assistant sensor (somewhat similar to Oppo A3 Pro).

The phone runs on a 5500 mAh battery — likely capable of fast charging at 33W. It comes in 8GB/12GB memory and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options. Android 14 will be its default OS and May is probably the phone's official unveiling month. Other than those details, nothing feasible has popped up online.
