Per Oppo’s Facebook page, the triple-camera-toting Oppo A31 is soon headed for the Pakistani market and will be available soon at amazing Oppo prices. A definitive launch date hasn’t revealed itself yet, but given that the phone is now listed on Oppo Pakistan’s official website, the announcement shouldn’t be far off.
Introduced in February this year, the Oppo A31 combines an elegant gradient design, with a sleek, almost bezel-free look. Its 6.5” LCD display has a modern 20:9 aspect ratio and a minuscule waterdrop notch that extends from the top bezel and into the screen.
Oppo notes that the waterdrop notch on the front has been shrunken by 31.4%, which, in turn, produces an 89% screen-to-body ratio.
The turnings are soft, as are the A31 edges, which in conjunction with the smooth gradient, presents a muted OPPO design. It’s more pronounced in the ‘Fantasy White’ edition than it is in ‘Mystery Black.’ In addition to the vertically stacked triple-camera, the plastic shell is also home to a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, accented with a golden ring-like border.
The primary A3 by OPPO camera has a 12MP sensor, that is rounded off by a pair of 2MP cameras – one intended for portrait shots and the other for bokeh. The 8MP selfie camera utilizes an ‘AI Beautification’ algorithm for more refined skin tones.
The phone uses the entry-level MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which works with 6GB/4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable up to 256GB). The internals are hooked up to a 4,230 mAh battery – which lacks support for fast charging. Oppo claims that you can get up to 14 hours of constant moderate usage and up to 7 hours of online gaming out of your Oppo A31.
The hardware, however, runs on the now-obsolete ColorOS 6.1 (based on the previous-gen Android Pie). The Official sources haven’t shared the Oppo price tag yet, but WhatMobile expects the 4GB + 64GB Oppo A31 to variant retail anywhere around 29,999 Pakistani Rupees while the 128GB variant can cost around 34,999/- PKR.
