Oppo A3x Bags MIIT Certification; Showcases Real-life Design and Hardware Info

Here’s what’s new with Oppo. There’s talk of a new low-cost device called the Oppo A3x. We saw its marketing images leak not long ago. There wasn’t much to build on, except that it may have a 45W SUPERVOOC plus 120Hz refresh rate. But an MIIT certification yesterday ratted out its design and some crucial info.

It’s something else entirely, not anything like the Oppo A3 Pro at all. That flat design and non-curve screen gave us the impression of an affordable build. And that landing zone for cameras is square, not round like before. A3x does look better in marketing shots. But MIIT shows the real deal.

‘PKL110’ is the number designated for Oppo A3x. MIIT listed plenty of info about it, and the first thing we noticed was the NR and NR SA bands. So, we have confirmation again that it’s a 5G model. Then, they spill its weight and size measurements.

187g grams may be the final weight of Oppo's future budget handset, and it will be slim. MIIT quoted almost 7.68mm thickness, and for a flat build, it’s downright impressive. They didn’t call it out by name. But there’s a 2.4GHz 8-core engine running this phone. Also, four RAM/ROM pairs abound with it.

6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM are versatile for a mid-ranger, and so are the storage options as low as 64GB and as high as 512GB. MIIT’s 4970mAh figure is the actual capacity for this phone. But they will probably advertise the battery as 5000mAh. IP54 rating may be the highlight of its debut.
