A phone wants to launch in Thailand. NBTC is the one who approves it. The one that got clearance just now is the Oppo A3X. We’ve met at least two members of the same clan. Maybe you’ve also heard of them. ‘Oppo A3’ and ‘A3 Pro’. A3x is the third and a special one (see the Geekbench listing mid-section).
Oppo A3x is far past the point of early rumors. We hear that Thailand has given it a go for launch. And the serial number we came across was ‘CPH2641.’ But the only thing it tells us. There’s a 5G modem brewing in that champs internals. That means a Qualcomm 5G special recipe is at play there.
There’s nothing really to tell from the NBTC’s super vague report. But Geekbench ripped the cord and slashed the curtains straight from the face of Oppo A3x. They snitched about its processor, RAM, Android version, and test results all in one fell swoop.
Get this! Oppo A3x has at least four cores doing max 2.02 GHz and four other cores stacked with 2.11 GHz. That’s an ordinary entry stage kind of a deal. But 8 GB total physical RAM isn’t inferior at all.
And we know the Geekbench results will always step near the 344-point ballpark for one core. But it will jump to 1181 points once all cores are running for this test. That Snapdragon processor will have to do for most folks buying an Oppo budget new smartphone.
That leaves the Android version. It’s not even the point of debate since we already know it's Android 14. We can’t help but speculate that their Geekbench report last month and the NBTC certificate are the trusty signs that the phone’s about to launch.
