Oppo A3x Price Slashed in Pakistan; Rs 2,000 Discounted on 64GB Option

This handset was announced with a massive discount last month, but it seems people weren’t interested in it, even at the new Rs 30,000 cost. We now hear that Oppo A3x has taken its price down another notch to appeal to Pakistani buyers. We only talk about its 4 GB + 64 GB variant here.

Oppo A3x will only cost Rs 27,999 from today onward, rather than Rs 30,000, which was a hefty sum for a 4/64GB trim. Hopefully, the new 2,000 rupee discount will resurrect the phone’s appeal in our market. And, about its specs: this is what you find inside the Oppo A3x.

Display-wise, Oppo A3x is as good as it gets in the price range. The panel is a 6.67” IPS tuned to a 90Hz speed at about 720p resolution, or what we normally call an HD+. A 1000-nit brightness level is pretty good for an IPS. It even has 180Hz touch sampling and a Panda Glass layer to shield it from damage.

The new Oppo 4G mobile has a Snapdragon 6s Gen 1. This is a 2.1 GHz eight-core SoC, so it handles most of the typical user activities just fine. This also makes the phone LTE-exclusive. As we said before, the discounted variant only has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, but you also have virtual memory and SD card expansion to make room for more files.

Durability is the main selling point for this handset, and if you are a little clumsy with electronics, this could be the right choice for you. Oppo grabbed military-grade certifications for A3x. The MIL-STD-810H compliance means that A3x passed the same tests as most USA military equipment.

We learn that the phone is IP54 rated, so it’s splash and dustproof. It won’t be submersible in water. Still, you can even use it with wet hands because A3x’s screen is great at accurately detecting touches. The rest is pretty ordinary stuff, more aligned with entry-level phones.

The camera isn’t the best, but not the worst either. The X Variant of the OPPO A3 bagged an 8 MP lens slapped on the back and a 5 MP selfie cam on the front. There’s a 5100 mAh cell inside it. A 45W fast charging is its redeeming quality, which is hard to find elsewhere at under Rs 27,999.
