Oppo A5 (2025) Key Specs Surface on TENAA, Design Exposed in Live Images

Oppo could be working on a new A-series phone. TENAA approved a handset with model code PKQ110 in China earlier today, followed by a live image leak. Those live shots exposed this model as an Oppo A5 (2025), but wait until you hear the good news. TENAA’s documentation and the new leak combined spilled almost all its details in one fell swoop.

Oppo’s A5 Pro has been on the streets in China since December, and it was clear then that a vanilla A5 might be coming later. TENAA has finally green-lit the phone but since the A5 has had multiple iterations over the years (A5 2018 and A5 2020), this newcomer is better described as Oppo A5 (2025).

TENAA says that this new phone is 7.65mm thin and 185g only, which is a sweet spot for a modern design such as this. This phone has a 6.7” screen, probably an AMOLED panel riding up front, and a full HD+ resolution. A5’s camera shape is almost the same as the Pro.

The Oppo new A model bags a 50 MP main, 2 MP depth + macro units on the back, and in the top header, we find an 8 MP selfie shooter. There were no details on TENAA about its SoC, but there was a hint about its clock speed. It can’t be said with absolute certainty, but this could be a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.

Oppo used a 2.2 GHz 8-core chip, probably from a midrange Snapdragon collection wired to 8 GB or 12 GB RAM. TENAA also revealed 256 GB or 512 GB storage against those RAM configurations.

In contrast to the OPPO A3x, this phone has a 6500 mAh power source to keep everything running, and the last bit of detail TENAA spilled is its 45W charging. Some specs are still missing, but it’s only a matter of time before they appear in leaks.
