Oppo A5 Pro has been announced in China and brings some top-of-the-line features at a surprisingly low price. This phone is also a successor to the Oppo A3 Pro, which they released six months ago with pretty mediocre specs. A5 Pro has come a long way, getting upgrades in almost all categories.
Oppo A5 Pro can push the display brightness to 1200 nits with FHD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It’s also an AMOLED panel with curved edges and super skinny bezels around the screen. Suffice it to say that the display experience on A5 Pro will be flagship.
An under-display fingerprint ID and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 are some of the perks of an AMOLED screen. Also, Oppo might have bumped up its class from entry-level to midrange, since the A5 Pro uses a Dimensity 7300 SoC, rather than the 6300. This will be a huge help for gaming and multitasking.
This Oppo 5G latest mobile has a maximum of 12 GB RAM, helping the SoC, and up to 512 GB storage. Apart from the Reno 13 and Find X8 line, this may be the only device with an Android 15 Color OS 15 on board. Oppo has also gone all in for the phone’s durability. It’s tested for Military-grade 360-degree shockproofing.
This new A5 Pro model is also IP66/IP68/IP69 rated for full water submersion and dust resistance. And it keeps getting better. We hear this phone has 80W charging for a 6000mAh cell, stereo speakers, and NFC. Oppo only used a 50 MP dual-lens setup on the back and a 16 MP selfie cam on the front. Oppo A5 Pro (8/256GB) starter configuration is only $275 (~PKR 76,000).
