Oppo brought the budget A54 to the Pakistani market earlier this year. Much like other phones in the A-series, the Oppo A53 successor offers a sleek design, AI-powered selfies, and plenty of storage. And it’s now being offered with a heavy Eid discount in Pakistan. Here are the details.
Oppo's A54 debuted with a starting price of Rs. 31,999/-, but it is now available for Rs. 28,999 — which makes for an attractive price cut of Rs. 3000. We’ll review the specs and features.
The back cover and the frame curve into a 3D form; it's offered in the shimmering, iridescent Starry Blue and the elegant and muted Crystal Black editions. A side-facing fingerprint scanner pulls double-duty as the power button, making for an effortless unlocking experience. Oppo A54 houses its camera cluster inside an accented squared-off plate.
We’re looking at a triple-camera array featuring a 13MP wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait lens for depth mapping. Out on the front, a 16MP selfie camera of A54 is embedded in the screen. The handset is still pretty eminent in the list of new Oppo mobile phones in 2021 and can shoot in AI Beautification and bokeh modes.
The A54 display is a 6.51” IPS LCD with a hole-punch cutout in the corner. It delivers an HD+ resolution, filling an 89.2% screen-to-body ratio. It supports eye comfort mode. Plus, the whole build is made durable with IPX4 resistance against water and drops.
It’s all powered by a 5000 mAh battery that lasts 20 hours of streaming and 41 hours of music playback — the battery life is stretched further with the Super Power Saving mode. Oppo A54 safely fast-charges over 18W. You get 128GB of storage, expandable to 256GB. ColorOS 7.2, built on Android10, runs on the A54 out of the box.
