The A55 4G is an upcoming successor of the Oppo A54. The phone was recently featured in leaked product photos on SlashLeaks. The listing also included a few specs. And the rumor mill has now followed up on this report with high-res press images.
The promo mockups of the Oppo A55 4G show the phone in three sleek finishes: holographic deep blue, satin mint, and grainy blue. Its shell integrates a two-in-one fingerprint scanner and power button in the frame.
Flip the OPPO A55 4G over to find a hole punched through the screen’s corner. A cluster of three lenses and an LED flash are housed inside a raised camera platform. It’s an array of 50MP wide and two 2MP macro and portrait lenses (to pad the count.)
The chip inside the phone isn’t specified, neither is the Oppo mobile price. But based on an educated guess, we could be looking at the MediaTek Helio G-series platform at an affordable price range. It’s all powered by a 5000 mAh battery that charges over 18W. Naturally, the Android11 and ColorOS UI run on this hardware.
No other specs have surfaced yet, but if the A55 5G is any guide, the screen would be a 6.5” IPS LCD that delivers a 720P resolution and 480 nits of peak brightness. You get 6GB of memory for multitasking and 128GB of expandable internal storage. The front camera is 8MP. Also, its body might weigh 186g and measure 8.4mm in depth.
