OPPO A57 4G Goes Official with HD+ Screen, 5,000mAh battery, and 33W Rapid Charging

The brand has introduced the follow-up to last year's OPPO A54, dubbed OPPO A57 in Thailand. This upcoming model is not to be confused with the A57 5G variant that was recently launched in China. Unlike the Chinese edition, The new pocket-friendly 4G variant features a 13MP dual-camera setup, an HD+ screen, and a 5,000mAh battery. Let’s take a brief look.


OPPO A57 4G features a 6.56-inch screen with a water dewdrop notch, supporting a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, which is considered HD Plus. The handset comes with 3GB of RAM with RAM Expansion technology, can add another 4GB, totaling 7GB, and has 64GB of built-in storage. The MicroSD slot built into the A57 allows for up to 1TB of added storage.

The frame of the A57 4G measures 7.9mm in-depth, and the whole body weighs 187 g. it’s all powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, built on a 12nm process and clocked at 2.3GHz. It comes with Android 12 OS and ColorOS 12.1 preinstalled.


It sports an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. A 13-MP primary shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and an LED flash are all found on the OPPO A57's back camera module. Take great photos with Portrait Bokeh, AI Portrait Retouching, and 360°Fill Light features. Plus, it's full of dimensions with stereo speakers.


The A57 by Oppo can be used for a long time with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. Biometric security is covered by a 2D Face Unlock feature alongside a side-mounted thumb reader. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C interface, GPS, Wifi, and a Bluetooth 5.0 module included in the body.

The color selection is different. You can pick the OPPO A57 in Glowing Green and Glowing black shades. The model sold in Thailand is a 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM version with an Oppo mobile price tag of only 5,499 baht or 32,594 Pakistani rupees. There's no official confirmation yet but the company might plan to launch the device in other Asian countries soon, including Pakistan.
