Oppo’s steady cycle of new budget releases as we enter the second quarter of 2022. We’ve already seen a few new A-series phones and most recently the Oppo F21 Pro. Now the latest Oppo A57 5G just joined this lineup. Here’s what it has to offer.
Firstly, the Oppo A57 5G rocks a 6.56” IPS LCD. It peaks at 1080P resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen operates on intelligent dimming to protect your eyes. A notch bleeding into the display contains an 8MP front camera. The camera system can shoot in multiple night, portrait, and ultra-clear modes.
The casing has sharp, flat edges, available in trendy purple, black, and blue finishes. The purple and blue versions have a glossy texture, but the black edition features a more grainy matte surface. Overall, the Oppo A57 has a relatively light footprint.
The rear camera is a dual array made of 13MP wide and 2MP portrait shooters. Everything on the new 5G OPPO mobile is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip. It is a high-performance 6nm platform that can run 5G and WiFi networks simultaneously for accelerated speeds. You get up to 6GB/8GB of memory and 218GB of UFS storage.
No fast charging support is available, but Oppo promises all-day battery life. And Android 12 x ColorOS runs on this hardware. Dual stereo speakers deliver louder surround sound.
You can set the volume up to 200% using what Oppo calls the ‘Super Volume’ feature. It starts from 1,499 Yuan (~ Rs. 43,000.)
