Oppo A60 is a new April release. We usually wait longer for a phone like this to reach our market. But they were quick about it with the A60. It dawned on our market just a few weeks later. And its 8/256GB variant is now open for business in Pakistan.
You have a typical slab phone here. There's a flat look to it, sure. But it should look pretty in person with those Purple/Blue hues. A60's design is all about that camera bump. Then there is your standard stuff like the SIM slot or volume rocker.
A 6.67" IPS display is on top that pushes a 720p resolution. Its refresh rate is quick 90Hz; nothing extraordinary there. They've poked a hole in the top of the screen for selfie snapper. Light bezels on the side are fine, but a thick chin at the bottom will bug you a little.
The battery capacity of the Oppo budget new phone reaches 5000 mAh max. It fast charges over 45W. It should do a 50% charge in 30 minutes if you go by the advertisements. The cell is plenty dense to power a Snapdragon 680 for a full day.
Android 14 ColorOS 14 provides the software interface here. The camera setup on the Oppo A60 is your average optics array for a budget phone: a 50MP first camera rounded off by a 2MP second depth sensor. It will grab your selfies from an 8MP camera. A side fingerprint reader is also there if you need it. Oppo A60 in its 8/256GB avatar will cost you Rs 54,999/-.
