Oppo A76 is a budget phone that dropped in Pakistan in early March this year. And only a month later, Oppo is offering a discount on this phone in stores nationwide. We have the new pricing details and features to report.
The phone launched at Rs. 36,999. But after a price cut of Rs. 2000, the Oppo A96's younger sibling is now on sale for Rs. 34,999. The new price tag makes the A76 just a little more value-friendly.
The big highlight of the Oppo A76 is its battery life. A 5000 mAh battery powers this phone. Oppo promises all-day battery life. Plus, 33W SuperVOOC technology quickly recharges the cell. It’s advertised to deliver a 55% top-up with 30 minutes of charging.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chip is at the phone’s heart at an affordable Oppo price. It’s an old-gen chip, paired with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM, and the A76 allows for storage expansion. And the previous-gen Android11 x ColorOS runs on this hardware.
Next, we’re looking at the hole-punched screen. It peaks at a 90Hz refresh rate which makes a smoother UI. But the resolution is an unremarkable 720P, the brightness an underwhelming 600 nits, and the pixel density a mediocre 269 PPI. Oppo does offer generic screen protection, however.
You can pick the Oppo A76 in two colors: the grainy textured Glowing Black and the sleek, grainy Glowing Blue. Both editions have curved, chamfered edges and a fingerprint scanner merged with the side power key. The camera embedded in the backplate features two lenses — a narrow 13MP primary camera and a 2MP portrait shooter. An 8MP sensor rests behind the front camera. Oppo A76 can shoot in AI Enhancement, Fill Light, Bokeh, and HDR modes.
