Oppo A92 Launched in Pakistan; Features 8GB of RAM, 5,000mAh Battery and a 48MP Quad-Camera

Oppo has just introduced the A92 for the Pakistani market. The phone is already available for pre-booking at an attractive Oppo price tag, according to the announcement made on the company’s social media.


For our readers out of the loop, here's a quick rundown of what this mid-range Oppo A92 offers. Right out the gate, you'll find a 1080P 'Neo-display' featuring modern narrow bezels and a hole-punch design.

The A92 Display stretches 6.5” corner-to-corner, reaching a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The Oppo screen also incorporates a blue light filter and has the Eye Protection Certification.


You get a design inspired by the polar region landscape, available in Twilight Black and Aurora Purple. A92 by Oppo a sunburst pattern shining through the camera housing — which itself is lengthened with a quad-camera. The shell has a minimalist feel to it; it's chamfered, rounded, and the camera is arranged in a neat L-style layout. A thumbprint reader is mounted on the left edge.


The camera array uses a 48MP main camera (f/1.7), a 119° ultra-wide-angle shooter, and two lenses intended for portraits. Paired with this wide aperture is the 'Ultra Clear Night Mode 2.0' that extends the dynamic range and delivers excellent low-light shots. Shoot in 4k, augmented by Oppo's  'Video Anti-shake' that stabilizes your footage on the A92 using onboard AI. Capture selfies with the 16MP front sensor and AI Beautification.


On the processing end of Oppo A92, there's a Snapdragon 665 mobile platform handling the number-crunching coupled with an 8GB + 128GB memory configuration (non-expandable). When you need a bit more oomph for gaming and resource-heavy apps, toggle on the 'Hyper Boost' engine.

A massive 5,000 mAh battery and its accompanying 18W fast charge back up these sub-flagship internals. The A92 lets you immerse yourself in surround sound with Dual Stereo Speakers and Dirac 2.0. Oppo ships it with ColorOS 7.1 (built on Android10), and the phone to start from Rs. 40,000.
