To compete with the never-ending slew of new phones from other Chinese OEMs, Oppo has been churning out models left and right. The latest in that line is the Oppo A92s, that’s been spotted on TENNA’s listings ahead of its launch, alongside its press renders. The handset is expected to arrive soon carrying a high mid-range Oppo price tag
Oppo A92s features a 6.57-inch display that delivers an FHD+ resolution. It also houses a pill-style front camera module in its top-left corner, pointing towards a dual selfie setup.
Although it remains to be confirmed, speculation points to a 120Hz refresh rate. The bezels appear to be slim, and the spine has a side-mounted thumbprint reader.
The rear shell of A92 has a polished, glossy design and a squircle camera bump with its four lenses inside it. Two of the cameras lie inside a second pill-shaped housing, while the other two reside in the corners. The renders portray the phone in white, black, and pink hues.
The front-facing twin camera of Oppo A92s has a 16MP primary sensor, combined with a 2MP depth-assist shooter. The rear camera consists of a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth-assist sensor, and a 2MP macro unit.
A MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset powers the phone, that has a 2GHz octa-core CPU baked into it. It’s rounded off by 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. As for the connectivity, the Dimensity 800 platform allows for dual-mode 5G.
The battery is rated 3,920 mAh, which could have a typical capacity of 4,000 mAh (but the leak doesn’t remark on the fast charging support). It is yet to be seen how Oppo Prices the upcoming handset but WhatMobile expects the 8GB/128GB edition to start anywhere from 60,000 to 69,000 PKR.
