Following an elaborate promotional campaign, Oppo has finally taken the wraps off the Oppo F15. WhatMobile has extensively covered the model already, but for our readers out of the loop, here’s a complete breakdown of Oppo’s latest mid-ranger, now available at an affordable oppo price tag.
Crafted with a focus on ergonomics, the F15 presents a feather-weight build that’s 7.9mm thick and weighs 172g. The aspect ratio stretches to 20:9, only interrupted by a notch. It’s neatly chamfered around the edges and houses a quad-camera inside a capsule-shaped bump.
The build comes in two striking shades: Lightning Black and Unicorn White. The black edition glows, shifts when viewed from different angles, while the latter has a soft, subtle pattern.
There’s a four-camera array on the back of Oppo F15 that features a 48MP sensor, a 119° ultra-wide camera, a 3-8cm macro lens that supports autofocus, and a 2MP mono sensor. This setup lets you capture shake-free shots by incorporating intelligent EIS. The front camera has a 16MP sensor underneath its hood.
As for performance, you’re looking at a 4,000 mAh battery powered by 20W Oppo VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 which brings your F15 up from 0% to 50% in only thirty minutes.
The processing on F15 is handled by the MediaTek Helio P70 platform, in combination with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage — expandable with a microSD card. Turn on the ‘Game Boost 2.0’ if you require a bit more ‘oomph’ out of your hardware.
The screen of F15 by Oppo is an AMOLED panel that produces an FHD+ resolution and a 90.7% screen-to-body ratio. Inside this display lives a fingerprint scanner that unlocks your device in 0.32s. Oppo has reinforced it with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and DC Dimming 2.0 to protect your eyes.
While the company has now formally announced the price, the Oppo F15 is now available nationwide starting at Rs. 44,999.
