The 5G variant of the OPPO f21 Pro is coming to Pakistan next month and has already been listed on the OPPO Pakistan's website. The phone is a rebranded version of the globally available Reno 7z 5G — a series known for delivering high-end camera features. And the F21 pro 5G is no different. It follows closely after the release of the 4G variant (already available in Pakistan,) taking photography and mobile entertainment to a new level.
In terms of design, OPPO F21 Pro 5G features frosted glass backs instead of the 4G model's Fiberglass-leather option. The glittery finish on the casing and minimalist camera layout create some aesthetically pleasing effects. Plus, the Dual-Orbit breathing lights around the camera lenses provide it a unique flair.
The F21 Pro 5G has the same look as the 4G version but has some caveats to deliver more affordable 5G connectivity. There is an identical 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), but the refresh rate is 60 Hz as opposed to the 90Hz on the standard F21 Pro. Other differences include Schott Xensation glass in contrast to the Gorilla Glass 5 and a side-mounted fingerprint read rather than an Under-display sensor.
The front shooter on the new OPPO 5G mobile has its resolution reduced to 16 MP, but the rear setup maintains the 64 MP (f/1.7) configuration for the main camera; 2 MP for the macro lens (f/2.4); and 2 MP for the monochrome sensor (f/2.4).
The processor used in the OPPO F21 Pro 5G is the Snapdragon 695, which guarantees more promising performance and enables 5G mobile connectivity. The storage capacity is the same at 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal space that can be expanded with Micro SD.
The model is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging and will leave the factory running Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1. The phone is all set to launch in Pakistan in the first half of June. WhatMobile expects the F21 Pro 5G to cost anywhere around Rs. 67,000 to 70,000 PKR.
