The OPPO F21 Pro dropped in Pakistan on schedule today. It’s currently up for pre-order nationwide. The short window will last until April 15, when official sales and shipping for the new sequel to the Oppo F19 Pro begin. Here’s what the F21 Pro has to offer.
Oppo has been highlighting a so-called flagship front camera in their marketing campaign. The OPPO F21 Pro rocks the Sony IMX709 sensor with a narrow f/2.4 lens and field-of-view. But we’re promised 35% cleaner images and 60% more light intake than the previous generation. The phone can shoot in AI portrait enhancement, Selfie HDR, and Bokeh flair modes.
The rear camera is a cluster of one 64MP wide lens and two 2MP additional shooters. You can choose from ultra-clear, flash snapshots, microlens, and nightscape modes. No advanced optical stabilization or ultra-wide shooting is available, however.
The ‘fiberglass/leather’ design stands out and has a trendy, premium touch. It’s slim and lightweight (clocking in at 7.54mm depth and 175g weight.) The retro camera layout also includes an orbiting light that glows for notifications, calls, and messages. You can choose from the elegant, muted Cosmic Black and the striking Sunset Orange colors at an Affordable OPPO price.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 does all the processing. It’s a 6nm octa-core chip, hooked up to 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. 33W SUPERVOOC charging powers the 4500 mAh battery inside the Oppo F21 Pro. The casing is rated IPX4 against splashes.
Lastly, the screen is a 6.43” AMOLED panel that peaks at 1080P resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a mediocre 600 nits of brightness. A built-in blue light filter keeps your eyes protected, and Oppo has hidden a fingerprint scanner below this display. The F21 Pro starts from PKR 52999.
