OPPOhas unveiled a brand new set of premium smartphones. They call it the F21s Pro series, which includes two phones: the OPPO F21s Pro 5G and the F21s Pro 4G. It's essentially a revamped F21 Pro package launched back in April. Although the phones look different, the specifications inside are strikingly similar.
From the get-go, the first noticeable thing about the F21s Pro series is its design. Oppo has accentuated the new Shinning Dawnlight Gold color for both phones, which, as the name suggests, makes the rear plate shine at certain reflective angles.
Both phones are identical except for the rear camera modules. The OPPO F21s Pro 4G has a protruding camera island with single-orbit light, while the 5G variant has all lenses sticking directly out of the shell.
F21s Pro 5G has a Snapdragon 695 chipset under the hood, while F21s Pro 4G is powered by Snapdragon 680. Both are octa-core SoCs based on a 6nm node that links up to 8GB memory and 128GB storage capacity (similar RAM and ROM on both). The phones energize using a 4500mAh battery that charges at 33 watts.
The pair features identical AMOLED 6.43-inch FHD+ screens. But the 4G F21s Pro offers a 90Hz refresh rate + 180Hz touch sampling rate. The 5G model peaks at 60hz only. However, you won't be able to tell the difference just by looking. Both have a punch hole in the top right corner and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8%.
Combined with 2 Orbit Lights, F21s Pro 5G brings a 64MP primary, 2MP Macro, and a 2MP mono camera. The 4G variant has only a single Orbit light, but it adds Oppo's microlens sensor alongside the main 64MP cam.
Standard features include fingerprint readers under the screens, 3.5mm audio ports, and an Android 12 skinned version of ColorOS 12.1 UI. As of now, the F21s Pro series has only made it to India. Based on Oppo's usual launch itinerary, the phones might get added to the OPPO price catalog in Pakistan in the coming weeks. Converted to Pakistani price, F21s Pro 4G and Pro 5G cost around ~PKR 68,500 and ~PKR 77,500, respectively.
