Oppo F29 and F29 Pro Details Leak, Standard F29 Spotted in Live Image

Oppo's midrange F series halted in Pakistan a long time ago. The last F series device to land in our market was the F21 Pro from 2022, which was quite a success, we might add. Still, the company discontinued the lineup and never unveiled its future releases in Pakistan in recent years. Instead, the A-series devices, like the OPPO A3x, are now celebrated more in the regional market.

With F29 and OPPO F29 Pro on the horizon, let’s wait and see if Oppo decides to do things differently, and launch the duo in Pakistan this time. We are still waiting for the lineup’s official details, but a recent leak already gave a preview of the F29 and F29 Pro’s spec sheet, and a live image, which supposedly belongs to the vanilla model.

The tipster brought the specs to light on X. From what we’ve gathered, Oppo’s new F29 series will launch in India first, before making another move. The rest of the global market will have to wait until the series is done with its initial deployment. Specs-wise, you can expect both devices positioned in the midrange category.

It seems the Oppo F29 has a 6.7” flat AMOLED on the front with 1080p resolution (FHD+). The leak also mentions a 120Hz refresh rate for this device. But there were no other display stats on the tipster’s X post. He did, however, reveal that the phone will have IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, so that’s something.

For folks who prioritize performance over everything else, Oppo F29 is a considerable option since it has a Dimensity 7300 SoC on board. This is a 2.5 GHZ platform with 8 cores. Allegedly, Oppo might position the vanilla F29 between $286 and $344. When compared to other Oppo phone prices, this price point offers solid value for the performance it delivers.

Oppo F29 was also shown in a live image with a circular disc on the back, which seems to be a design borrowed from an older model. Oppo F29 Pro didn’t leak with an image, but its specs paint quite the picture. This device will also use a flat 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED, but this one has micro-curves on all sides. There will be a 50 MP main camera on the rear side and a 16 MP selfie on the front.

The Oppo F29 Pro will drive the latest Android 15 OS using the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 platform and secure up to IP69 rating. The battery capacity on both models will be 6500mAh. Oppo F29 Pro hasn’t given away its price tag yet, but the details might unravel shortly. So stay tuned for more news.
