Oppo F29 series is making progress. The company has now announced its intention to reveal the two new devices on March 20th. Oppo F29 and F29 Pro now have dedicated listings on the Oppo website, which reveal key specs, the phone’s design, and even the prospective color options.
It has been decided that the first country to receive the Oppo F29 and F29 Pro will be India, though the lineup is also expected to arrive in other regions following the March 20th launch. For now, the company only showed specs in typical collage-fashioned highlights, which paint a vivid picture of what we can expect from the series.
These phones have something called Hunter Antenna, which could boost the network signal strength by 300%, per the company’s claim. The F29 and F29 Pro have other common features like the IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, so both can be submerged in water without risk. Oppo even advertises underwater photography with both handsets.
The Oppo new 5G mobiles earn more durability points with their 360-degree Armor body build, which is apparently damage-proof according to Oppo’s claim. We also found the colors and storage options for both models on the same website.
As it turns out, both the Oppo F29 and F29 Pro have dual finishes, two storage options for the non-Pro, and three trims for the Pro model. If you talk specifically about the Pro, the options available are Marble White and Granite Black. And it’s going offical with 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB configurations.
The non-Pro F29 gives you two memory trims in either 8/128GB or 8/256GB and color choices between the Solid Purple and Glacier Blue. As we said before, most of the details are still under wraps, but the company did tease the duo’s charging and battery specs.
The highlights showed Oppo F29’s 6500 mAh, which is the largest Oppo has ever put inside an F series model. It will plug into a 45W wired charging kit with SuperVOOC Flash charge tech. The Oppo F29 Pro has a smaller 6000 mAh, but it’s wired to an 80W SuperVOOC flash charge. For the rest of its details, we might have to wait a bit more until Oppo has launched the F29 lineup on March 20th. So stay tuned.
