Oppo is gearing up to introduce its latest creation, the Oppo Find N3 Flip, to the Chinese market on August 29. With the prospect of a subsequent global debut, the handset promises an array of design enhancements and upgraded specifications, positioning it as a strong contender against competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

The Find N2 Flip marked Oppo's initial foray into the clamshell foldable game, and its sleek design and expansive cover screen garnered praise. The upcoming Find N3 Flip maintains the essence of its predecessor while incorporating subtle alterations.

The distinctive rectangular cover screen remains, accompanied by a new circular camera module adorned with three camera sensors, including one bearing the renowned Hasselblad branding. Unlike the other rivals, the Find N3 Flip abstains from adopting a larger outer display.

Notably, its predecessor’s hallmark feature, a seamless fold that eliminates gaps, is expected to continue. The hinge mechanism, pivotal to the latest Flip Oppo mobile, remains unconfirmed in terms of modifications, yet the Find N2 Flip's Gen Flexion Hinge, rated for 216,000 actuation, seems advent enough.

While precise display specifications are yet to surface, the Find N2 Flip is a solid reference for context. It featured a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen boasting FHD+ resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and HDR support. A secondary 3.26-inch AMOLED display complemented its functionality.

The Find N3 Flip raises the bar with its MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and a substantial 16GB RAM. A larger 4,800mAh battery will reside under the hood, supporting 67W fast charging. The camera setup appears promising, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and Oppo's first inclusion of a portrait camera lens. Although pricing remains undisclosed, the Find N3 cost should align with its predecessor at $1,175 (~PKR 356,000).
