Oppo has big plans for this year and probably the year after it. This phone maker has made foldable devices a regular thing now. You probably know the Oppo Find N3 series was its last bendy lineup. We heard gossip about their plans to resume with the Find N5 Foldable line (skip the fourth). We are eager about it.
Digital Chat Station gave clues on Weibo about what will happen. He says a Find N5 Fold is upon us with timely upgrades. Fans should see a lighter chassis. They will shave off some weight, but it will not be slim this time. It's because it has to have a periscope camera rear-side.
DCS has got our hopes high about a new hinge mechanism. That new zero-crease hinge will boost the toughness of the Oppo new foldable mobile, so it will probably be more reliable. The inner workings of that hinge will affect the display crease also. Help it make the trench in the middle less obtrusive.
Ultra flat inner glass screen is coming. And a high-res outer cover display is coming with it. The periscope shooter you read about before. It should be an extreme 64MP zoomer. It has to include the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip because it is a flagship. That's maybe why DCS thinks it won't launch until Q1 2025.
But don't click away yet. There's plenty more news for you. Oppo Pad 3 is also in R&D. That one is much closer than N5. It should launch in June or July. We hear Pad 3 has an SD 8 Gen 3 clocker plus 16 GB RAM. 12.1" screen and 3k resolution are coming also. Its energy stats may be 67W charging and 9510 mAh battery.
