The long-awaited Oppo Find X3 series just launched in China. The Find X3 Pro has already made its global debut, and the standard Find X3 should be on its way. The two phones are essentially the same, save for their chipsets and colors.
Oppo Find X3 Pro
The Find X3 series has perhaps the most divisive design in a Find X series yet. The whole shell is crafted from a single glass plate, deftly sculpted into a camera hump.
We’re looking at a premium, satin-matte finish that comes in Gloss Blue and Gloss Black editions. The layout is inspired by the iPhone 12 series, but it’s head-turning nonetheless.
Much like last year’s Find X2 Pro, the new Find X3 Pro also puts the screen front and center. It’s a 6.7” LTPO AMOLED panel that features a sharp QHD+ resolution, HDR10+ compatibility, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and peaks at a billion colors. The 10-bit full-path color management engine runs across the device.
Its camera system features two 50MP sensors, one standard wide and the other ultra-wide. These two cameras are joined by a 13MP telephoto lens and a 3MP microscope camera. The zoom camera supports 2x optical zoom, and the 3MP camera offers 60x magnification — think of this gimmick as a low-res microscope in your pocket.
Find X3 Pro has the Snapdragon 888 at its heart, powered by a 4500 mAh battery. It fast charges over 65W wirelessly and 30W wirelessly.
The Find X3 Pro runs on the new and improved ColorOS 11.2 right out of the box. It comes in 8GB/12GB/16GB memory and 256GB/512GB storage options. And starts from 5,499 Yuan (~ Rs. 133,000), while the top-end variant costs 6,999 Yuan (~ Rs. 169,000.)

The standard Find X3 has the same build as the Pro edition, but it’s offered in more color options: Condensed White, Mist Blue, Mirror Black, and Cosmic Mocha.
You get 8GB/12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, starting from 4,499 Yuan (~ Rs. 108,800.) The Snapdragon 870 is at the heart of the Find X3. The rest of the specifications and materials are no different from the Find X3 Pro.
The Find X3 features an aluminum and glass sandwich build, protected with Gorilla Glass and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. The same goes for the camera system and battery capacity.
Its screen is similarly curved and has identical specifications and dimensions. Find X3 also lacks a 3.5mm audio jack but supports NFC, dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner.
