Oppo Find X3 Series Benchmarked with Snapdragon 888; Performance Upgrades Over the Last Generation

The credible industry analyst Evan Blass previously leaked the Oppo Find X3 Pro specifications. Shortly after the leak, a phone leaker published product renders for the Find X3. And the same phone has allegedly been featured on the cross-platform benchmarking website, Geekbench.

Since the 'CPH' prefix is reserved for the Find X series, the scorecard listed under the model name ‘CPH2173’ belongs to either the Oppo Find X3 or Find X3 Pro. The benchmark is Geekbench 5, and it details not just the scores but also the system information — all but confirming that we’re looking at a flagship.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chip is mentioned under its codename ‘lahaina’ — an island in Hawaii. The latest ColorOS 11, based on Android11, powers the Oppo Find X3 series, while 12GB of memory covers multi-tasking.

Coming back to the Find F3 series benchmarks, the Oppo CPH2173 manages 1134 points on its single-core tests and 3660 points when engaged in resource-heavy tasks. To put these numbers into context, consider the Find X2 Pro. On the same benchmark, it hits 715 points on single-core and 2794 points on multi-core tests, with the same amount of memory. The jump in performance comes from the faster, newer chip. And since their cameras and battery sizes are what separates the ‘Pro’ from the base variant, you can expect the Find X3 to perform similarly at a lower Oppo mobile price.

Oppo has announced that the Oppo Find X3 series will use a new color management system which they’re calling, 10-bit full path color management. It’s designed to produce more accurate, richer colors, so the lineup’s performance won’t be its only highlight.
