Details about the successive Find X lineup are starting to trickle out. A flagship phone series, OPPO Find X6 is reportedly in the works by Oppo. Since Find X phones have historically launched in pairs - a baseline model and a high-end Pro model - the new flagships should be dubbed Find X6 and Find X6 Pro.
Several exciting reports about the duo's screen resolution and processor have emerged on the web. The renowned smartphone leaker Digital Chat Station suspects both X6 phones will use sharper screens. Compared with the OPPO Find X5's typical 1080p screen, the Find X6 screen will score 1.5K resolution this year.
Higher resolution translates to more densely packed pixels per inch, meaning the PPi will also get a boost. On the other hand, Find X6 Pro will use the same, capable enough 2K resolution display (~525 PPI) used in FindX5 Pro.
There is a possibility that different generations of Snapdragon processors will power both OPPO Find new models. The latest rumors claim that the Pro Find X6 is slated for Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while the standard Find X6 will use previously launched Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
The pattern seems to be repeating itself. As you may recall, at the time of the launch, the Find X5 Pro rocked a newly introduced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, In contrast to the X5's one-generation old SD888 chip.
In other news, smartphone companies are now gunning for 1-inch camera sensors to mount on their flagship devices. So there's a possibility that Oppo Find X6 Duo will do the same. At the moment, specs and feature details are scarce. But more information should start pouring in soon, so stay tuned.
