Their Oppo Find X7 line came out in January and by the same time next year, it’s more than possible that a Find X8 series is waiting for us in early 2025. There’s nothing official on this subject, for now at least, but there has been a major leak with the vanilla Find X8.
On X yesterday, someone posted the front live shot of the Oppo Find X8, and from the first impression all we can think is how similar it looks to the iPhones. They’ve made the design flat on the X8, while the old Find X7 was a curved phone by nature.
It’s not the front panel that’s iPhone-esque, but rather it’s about the side rails that gently curve at the corner and the brushed aluminum material they used for it. X8 will look just as premium as the old X7 flagship but in a different way, as you can see in these shots.
And by the way, there was also a leak on Weibo some days ago that previewed the front of Find X8, and some specs were written on the image in Chinese. Of course, when you translate them into English, they say that Oppo's latest flagship is due for a Dimensity 9400.
There are at least three cameras on the back, all 50 MP, but one is a periscope SONY LYT600, and that’s pure gold for Zoom shots. They may have given the X8 a 5700mAh cell that would recharge not only via 80W wired but also a 50W wireless input. That front panel will shrink to 6.5” and should be a BOE’s OLED of 1.5K pixels.
