Their Find X8 and Find X8 Pro already received the official unveiling; the only one left from this series is the Find X8 Ultra, and Oppo has yet to debut it. There’s no specific confirmation for when it will come, but the expectation is that it will happen between January and March.
We saw a leak on Weibo that spilled almost every detail about this phone’s camera grouping, and it seems this will be a major talking point when the X8 Ultra shows up. Putting a fine point on it, this will be a camera-centric device with an absolute best-of-the-best rig.
There will probably be a quad-cam array facing rearward and the main lens will be a 50 MP cell on the Oppo's Ultra flagship. Then, there seem to be two periscope lenses, each 50 MP, but one is 3X zoomer, and the other will get you 6X optical zoom; says the Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
It’s still anyone’s guess how they plan to cram in four huge lenses in a standard camera housing. There are even rumors that the main 50 MP lens has a 1” type sensor and that sharing space with two periscope sensors will a tough to pull.
There’s also a fourth ultrawide lens, almost the same at a 50 MP resolution, as DCS’s leak claimed over at Weibo. It’s a flagship phone coming between January and March, so it will probably get a Snapdragon 8 Elite to pull everything together.
